Hi! I'm Wendi O'Brien, the artist behind Artista 365. When attending culinary school I took a drawing class and was hooked. I took several other art classes and decided to start my journey as a full time artist in 2017 and teaching online shortly after.
Artista 365 has become a place where my students can come and get help, recommendations, pointers and encouragement. I love to work with them and watch them bloom in their styles. The idea that I am part of their journey is absolutely amazing.
Though my focus began in realism, I have recently focused in more abstract and digital art.
In spring of 2021, I became a Certified Zentangle Teacher (CZT). It has been a blast learning the different patterns and create something that looks so complex with simple patterns is so amazing. This simplicity has been so refreshing, I have decided to create some coloring books and digital downloads.
This is quite and undertaking and I am hoping to have my first one completed by the end of 2022.
