Apple Study – Colored Pencil by Wendi OBrien December 4, 2019 written by Wendi OBrien December 4, 2019 1.4K This is a little apple study I completed where I take you step by step on how to complete not only the apple, but also the apple itself. This is a great tutorial for the beginner and those looking to advance their colored pencil skills without using OMS.While you can use OMS (Odorless Mineral Spirits), I usually do not in most of my artwork. If you are used to using OMS then this may be a bit of an adjustment, or just go ahead and use it if you prefer. Either is fine. You can get the FREE reference and line drawing by visiting my Downloads Page The list of supplies are in the video description, but also listed here as well as the time codes for the different sections.Video Index: Intro 02:35 Beginning of Background 01:45:54 Beginning of Apple Supplies used: Paper: Strathmore Bristol Vellum 6 X 6 inches Xacto Craft Knife Pencil SharpenerPolychromos Pencils: 132 Light Flesh, 189 Cinnamon Prismacolor Premier Pencils: 914 Cream, 925 Crimson Lake, 927 Light Peach, 929 Pink, 935 Black, 937 Tuscan Red, 940 Sand, 941 Light Umber, 942 Yellow Ochre, 943 Burnt Ochre, 944 Terra Cotta, 946 Dark Brown, 947 Dark Umber, 996 Black Grape, 1011 Deco Yellow, 1014 Deco Pink 1034 Golden Rod, 1029 Mahogany Red, 1056 70% Warm Grey, 1058 90% Warm Grey, 1068 10% French Grey, 1080 Beige Sienna, 1083 Putty Beige, 1084 Ginger Root, 1092 Nectar, 1095 Black Raspberry, 1098 ArtichokeI hope you enjoy this Step-by-Step Tutorial Share My Art:ShareClick to share on Pinterest (Opens in new window)Click to share on Twitter (Opens in new window)Click to share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)Click to email a link to a friend (Opens in new window)Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window)Click to share on Tumblr (Opens in new window) 0 comments 0 FacebookTwitterPinterestEmail Wendi OBrien previous post Misty Walk Landscape in Graphite next post 6 Tips Using Colored Pencils on Black Paper You may also like Experimenting with Charcoal and Graphite in Vintage Realism July 16, 2021 How to Use OMS with Colored Pencils on...
